Washington Post Highlights Governments Stance on Charitable Giving

According to an article in the Washington Post, the Chinese government will start paying stricter attention to donations made to charitable organizations in the country. This has left the adoption community to wonder what this means for organizations like Half the Sky whose work is so important in orphanages around the country. Until recently, nonprofit organizations registered as a company to avoid scrutiny from the government. Now controls are tighter.
